Discovering

the Nine Personalities

in Your Workplace

A Tool for CNAs

October 1-2, 2007

Tools for Self-improvement:

During this workshop you will study the nine personalities that use different approaches to life. This ancient system of thought points directly to our unhealthy and destructive life responses while providing ways of changing our thinking and behaving to achieve better understanding and acceptance of self and others, and improve relationships with family, friends and co-workers.

Certified Nursing Assistants play a critical role in the overall long-term health of the elderly for whom they care, as well as the health of the institution in which they work. In this workshop, CNAs will learn how to recognize their own motivation and compulsion in their professional role. They will begin to understand the motivation of their co-workers, clients and their own families. The dynamics of communication, self-esteem and leadership skills of the CNA will be addressed through input and small and large group discussion as well as individual time for self care.

Benefits:

Learn the tools for self-improvement and better understanding of others

Increase self-esteem

Enhance work performance

Develop leadership potential

Assist facilities to retain CNAs
