WATER EXERCISE / WATER THERAPY

CLASSES

This is a great no-stress exercise class that includes both low and no impact techniques.  An effective class for individuals starting new exercise routines to increase flexibility in joints and muscles, improve cardiovascular fitness, reduce weight and improve overall health.

Monday, Wednesday and Friday:       8:30-9:30 am
Monday, Tuesday and Thursday:
       5:30-6:30 pm

Saturday:                                                  9-10 am

Arthritis class
Tuesday, Thursday:                         8-9 am

Cost: 13 sessions - $50.00 (Incentive: attend regularly--three times a week--or bring a friend and get $5 off your next membership)

YOGA

Ashtanga Yoga is the practice that is sometimes referred to, in the popular press, as "Power Yoga."  Astanga is the most aerobic form of yoga and students who participate in class should expect to sweat.

Each class will begin with 15 minutes of breathing awareness and gentle stretching.  It will then progress to 45 minutes of Ashtanga practice.  Each class will end with 15 minutes of deep relaxation.   For those students who wish to stay, there will be a follow up deep relaxation period with 15 minutes of meditation practice.  This will be self-directed.
